Converting Video

The hard part in working with video for the web is converting the video to the appropriate formats for the various browsers and smart devices.

Here's some suggested solutions for both Macs or PC's

WinX HD Video Converter

For Webm and ogg (Theora for video and Vorbis for audio) You need to use Firefox

Set up using the Reference: "Video For Everybody" v0.4.2 by Kroc Camen of Camen Design.

This setup conciders all platforms and devices from smart phones to ipads, to desktop browsers.

Video 2

Setup using the Adobe widget browser HTML5 Video Player designed by the Dreamweaver Team. Team Adobe embeds the Kaltura open source video player html5video

Video 3

Flash video using the menu: Insert > Media > (FLV) Flash Video Format. Client must have a flash player installed on their computer.
