Horizontal and Vertical CSS Navigation Menus

The second hardest part of making a web page is generating menus that work well and look good.

As a result there are many free CSS "Menu" resources available on the internet. Budding Web Designers make these resources available as part of their "Portfolio"

The Menus on this page were generated on-line at a web site created by the Author of our Text Book,"Build Your Own Web Site The Rightway," by Ian Lloyd. His web site is called Accessify.com

He has a famous menu maker called "List-O-Matic". Add your list, pick a style, and cut and paste the generated CSS and XHTML into your web page, as demonstrated here, but, you'll have to peek under the hood to see the markup!

For the PC there are stand alone web menu (programs) that generate menu HTML/CSS They are free... For the Mac you need to use on-line resources...Use Googles "image" search engine with the key words, CSS and menus.
